Give Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT the PRIDE archive. One command writes the MCP config, and the next MCP release adds league pride to combat_card, combat_bout, and combat_athlete, so agents work from real bout and fighter IDs. Your key stays on your machine.

How are PRIDE rounds different?
PRIDE fights ran a 10-minute first round, then 5-minute rounds, and early PRIDE fights ran under other rules: Kazushi Sakuraba vs Royce Gracie (pride-1829) went six rounds. The API keeps every round as fought, with its own row per corner, so divide by round length before comparing PRIDE rounds with UFC or Strikeforce rounds.
| pride-1829 | Sakuraba sig. strikes | Gracie sig. strikes | Sakuraba takedowns |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | 3 of 5 | 19 of 22 | 1 of 1 |
| Round 2 | 10 of 12 | 8 of 17 | 0 of 0 |
| Round 3 | 14 of 31 | 14 of 51 | 0 of 1 |
| Round 4 | 6 of 22 | 12 of 43 | 2 of 2 |
| Round 5 | 8 of 16 | 1 of 3 | 1 of 1 |
| Round 6 | 20 of 61 (1 knockdown) | 6 of 29 | 1 of 1 |
Are PRIDE stats in the same format as UFC stats?
Yes. A PRIDE round row has the same fields and formats as a /ufc round row, so a model or stat page built on UFC rounds reads PRIDE rounds without a new parser. All 567 bouts with official round stats; hasStats on each event and bout says which.
| Field | Format |
|---|---|
| significantStrikes / totalStrikes / takedowns | "landed of attempted", e.g. "13 of 18" |
| head / body / leg | Significant strikes by target, same format |
| distance / clinch / ground | Significant strikes by position, same format |
| knockdowns / submissionAttempts / reversals | Counts |
| controlTime | "m:ss", e.g. "1:42", or null when not recorded |
